Lontar usada is a text that contains traditional medicine that the Balinese have trusted for a long time. This knowledge originated in India and then spread to Bali along with the development of Hinduism in the 5th century AD. Lontar usada is written on palm leaves in a long rectangular shape with a size of 3.5 cm x 35 cm. Lontar usada has several types, including lontar usada putih. This study was intended to analyze lontar usada putih as a guideline for traditional medicine using an Ecolinguistic perspective. Qualitative methods were applied in this study. The data source was a document (Translated text of lontar usada putih) with No. 111d 158/2. A number of attachments 38 copied from the lontar belongs to Cokorda Putra from Petak Village, Abianbase District, Gianyar. The researchers also collected data through interviews obtaining data from Kawi (ancient Javanese) particularly. In this case, interviews were conducted to obtain data, especially language rituals or treatment in prayer form, especially Sanskrit. Several informants were interviewed: Pandita (priest) and Balian, a Balinese healer. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that each treatment in the lontar usada putih not only uses medicinal media in the form of plants but also contains mantras, ceremonies, and special offerings.
